Active Minds

Founded in 2001 by Alison Malmon, a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, Active Minds is the only organization working to utilize the student voice to change the conversation about mental health on college campuses.  Established after the death of Alison’s older brother Brian, it aims to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health issues and create a comfortable environment for open conversations on campuses through campus-wide events and national programs.
