EChO

EChO (Early Childhood and Education Organization) is a student led organization at Eastern Maine Community College. The purpose of this organization is to advocate for children and their families, to be a presence in the community, and to grow as professionals.

We also strive to build our knowledge of current issues that affect the lives of children and their families. We lead and participate in events such as:  Harvest Day, Tech Day, food drives, book drives, professional development trainings, Bangor Literacy Volunteers Tea and more.

EChO meets every Tuesday at 12:15pm in the Center for Student Leadership (Katahdin Hall 307).
