The mission of “Summers at EMCC” is to offer innovative programming for campers that fosters creativity, leadership and individuality in accordance with the mission of Eastern Maine Community College.

  • Breakfast and lunch are both provided and included in the cost of our programs.
  • Pick-up and Drop-off is easy with Staff meeting campers every morning at 8am and returning to the same location at 5pm for pick-up.
  • All programs are coordinated and supervised by staff with over  twenty-five years of combined camp experience.

Junior Culinary Camps    (for campers ages 9-13)
Returning for our sixth summer, our Culinary Camps provide  the opportunity to create culinary masterpieces using a variety of  techniques, while trying new foods and making new friends.  At the end of the week family and friends are invited to join us for our “Showcase Luncheon”.

Week #1:  July 7-11          Limit:   14 campers     Cost:  $275.00 FULL

Tech Camp     (for campers ages 10-13)
Led by our own Information Technology Staff, campers will learn computers from the inside-out as they take a computer apart and put it back together on their own.  They will also have the opportunity to learn website development software installation and ethical computer practices with a fun hands-on approach that may lead to a future career in Information Technology.

Week #1:  July 21-25     Limit:  12 campers     Cost:  $275.00


Senior Culinary Camp    (for campers ages 14-17)
As requested!  For years parents and campers who have aged out of our Junior Culinary programs have been asking for a “Senior” Camp for the “older kids”- well, here it is!  Running from 8am-5pm, this program will provide the opportunity to build on the culinary skills campers already have and to learn and explore new and exciting ideas and creations.

Week #1:  August 4-8     Limit:  10 campers     Cost:  $350.00  FULL
