Bangor Business and Industry Center
The Bangor Business and Industry Center is part of Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC) and supports the College’s mission by providing specialized technical training, career, and workforce education and acting as innovative business and economic resource. Through the Bangor Business and Industry Center businesses can receive contracted training, corporate specific programs, access to funding sources, professional development and credit course offerings.

The main goal of the Business and Industry Center is “To support business and entrepreneurial activities, improve their success rate and enable a more vibrant local and state economy”. We accomplish this goal by responding to the education and training needs of our community, establishing innovative private sector partnerships, and providing access to technology. The Bangor Business and Industry Center has been operating since 1987.
