The beautiful tree-lined campus has undergone a transformation over the past five years with the addition of a campus green and walking track in the heart of campus and the renovation and construction of a new campus center and residence hall.
The campus is comprised of five classroom buildings, a gymnasium and two residence halls. Katahdin Hall is home of the Enrollment Center, dining facility, Technical Resource Center, Library, John Rohman Art Gallery and a childcare center which is operated by Penquis and which also serves as an instructional “lab” for our Early Childhood Education program.
The Johnston Gymnasium, home of the Golden Eagles, has a new fitness center open day and evening during the academic year.
Eastern Maine Community College also has three off-campus centers in East Millinocket, Dover-Foxcroft and Ellsworth.

To Schedule a Tour
All tours originate from the Enrollment Center on the first floor of Katahdin Hall. We strongly encourage you to arrive 10 minutes prior to the designated departure time so that we can make every effort to begin and end on schedule. You may schedule a tour of our campus online. If you experience difficulties with submitting your request online, call 207-974-4679 or 1-800-286-9357 ext. 4679 (in Maine) to make your request.
Due to limited staffing as well as the class schedules of our Student Ambassadors, we cannot offer tours on demand. You must schedule a time and be present when the tour departs or we will be unable to accommodate you. If you find that none of the dates/times are convenient for your personal schedule you are welcome to drop by the Enrollment Center, pick up a “Campus Directory” and explore the campus on your own.
