Scholarship Description

The Student Senate Scholarship signifies a commitment to the education of Maine’s people. This scholarship is managed by Eastern Maine Community College and the selection of recipients is made by the Student Senate Scholarship Committee.
The maximum scholarship award is $1,000.

Scholarship Requirements

Awards will be determined based on:
- Acceptance into a degree, diploma or certificate program at E.M.C.C.
- Enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours
- Academic Achievement (No “F” or “I” for the prior academic year)
- Leadership & Involvement in campus & community
- Financial Need

Please submit a typed essay (300 word minimum) along with this application describing your educational goals and why you should be considered for this scholarship.
