Schedule a Tour

We know the campus culture and community are important factors when deciding which college to attend; you want to feel connected, comfortable, and confident along your educational journey. Eastern Maine Community College invites you and your family on a walking tour of our 72-acre campus. Located in the heart of Bangor, we are just a short distance from Northern Light – Eastern Maine Medical Center, Downtown Bangor, shops, and dining. Our campus includes nine buildings: Katahdin Hall; Maine Hall; Schoodic Hall; Penobscot Hall; Rangeley Hall; Public Safety Training Center; Johnston Gymnasium; and two residence halls, Acadia and Kineo. You will find classrooms, lab, and shop spaces; the Student Success Center; Enrollment Center; Campus Library; and McCorkill Dining Hall.

Tours are led by our team of Student Ambassadors, who are happy to answer any questions regarding our College and provide you with a student’s perspective of EMCC. Upon completion of your tour, you are invited to speak with an Admissions Counselor to ask additional questions.

Due to class schedules of our Student Ambassadors, please allow at least 48 hours in advance when scheduling a tour. You will receive a confirmation email, including tour details. We strongly encourage you to arrive 10 minutes prior to the designated departure time so that we can make every effort to begin and end on schedule.

Out of an abundance of caution, EMCC has postponed all on campus tour services (for individuals and groups) through the end of May due to the current COVID-19 outbreak and our continued effort to keep our community safe. We are closely monitoring the situation and if circumstances allow, we may resume activities sooner than June. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. In the meantime, please click on the link below to take a virtual tour of the campus. And to request a phone or ZOOM appointment with an admissions counselor, call Amy Guiggey at 207-974-4857 or email!
