TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) Exam Preparation Information for EMCC Nursing Applicants

Instructions
- Choose “I am preparing for or taking the TEAS” from the pop up menu.
- Choose “Exam Registration”
- Choose “In-Person”** and select “Register”
- Choose “TEAS for Nursing Students” as the Program Type
- Search by “School Name”
- State = ME for Maine
- School = Eastern Maine Community College
- Select “Search”
- From the list of dates available, choose one that is convenient for you, then select “continue registration.”
- Confirm your selected test date/time in the shopping cart, then select “proceed to checkout.”
- Create an account by entering the requested information and then select “create an account.” (When asked to select the school you are enrolled in or plan to attend, select “Eastern Maine CC AH”)
- Agree to the Terms & Conditions as well as the Privacy Policy, then select “Continue.”
- Enter your credit/debit card information and confirm that you have read the ATI Purchase Policy and the TEAS Exam Attestation and enter billing address. Select “Next” on the right. (Purchases made outside of the US are not supported by ATI.)
- Keep the confirmation of your purchase for your records
- Enter your TEAS exam date/time into your calendar!
All Teas registrations are final, no exceptions. ATI is a third-party testing company and EMCC does not control the refund and rescheduling policy. The registration fee for the exam will be $92 per attempt, payable directly to ATI at sign up.
If you can’t make the purchases test session and have a documented emergency, please contact 1-800-667-7531, and they can let you know where to send the documentation. If you miss the original purchase date, it will not count against you as an attempt, however, you will have to pay for an additional session. Candidates rescheduling a TEAS date at least 48 hours in advance may be charged a rescheduling fee of $15 by ATI.
In person test day Information
- Come prepared with ATI Username/Password. If you arrive unprepared, without these login credentials, you may be denied testing and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
- Must present non-expired government-issued photo ID at time of check in. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Arrive at the testing facility at least 30 minutes before the test is scheduled to begin for check in. Late arrivals will not be allowed to test and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
- Calculators, cell phones and other electronic devices are NOT allowed. Basic 4 function calculator is accessible on screen. Paper and pencils will be provided by the College.
- Allow 4 hours for testing session.

All TEAS exams are held in room 310, on the Third Floor of Katahdin Hall, EMCC’s Bangor Campus, at 354 Hogan Rd, Bangor, ME 04401
There is a remote proctored option for the TEAS exam. TEAS exam can be proctored through the use of AT Remote Proctoring Services described at https://atitesting.com/remote-proctoring-terms/. Choose the “Remote Online” option from pop up menu on the ATI Testing site and follow the prompts. There is an upcharge for remote proctored exams.

The College will receive your test results within 2 hours of test completion.
