For Learners: Workforce and Professional Development at Eastern Maine Community College is designed to prepare learners for and connect them to in-demand, well-paying jobs in the communities they live in, as well as engage learners in life-long learning experiences that prepare them for the next step in their professional journey. We will help you determine a professional path to help meet your goals with realistic steps to take to help you be successful.

For Employers: Workforce and Professional Development at Eastern Maine Community College is designed to engage with you, identifying your business’ needs and helping to develop a sustainable workforce. Our team of Learning Engineers will partner with you to design and host educational experiences to help develop a workforce to fit the current and future needs of your organization. From entry-level skills through senior-level leadership, we can create education solutions that keep your workforce engaged and prepared to reach your strategic goals. For Non-profit Organizations: Workforce and Professional Development at Eastern Maine Community College can help you raise awareness about your organization’s mission through educational experiences. Our team of Learning Engineers will partner with you to create experiences that engage learners in your work, offering them the opportunity to earn a virtual badge upon completion of the experience. Virtual badges can be branded according to your organization and used as a marketing tool on social media and other outlets.
