EMCC hosts the Jobs for Maine’s Graduates (JMG) Bank of America Day

January 11, 2019

Jobs for Maine’s Graduates (JMG) partners with Maine’s public middle and high schools, community colleges, and university system to help students reach their fullest potential. JMG serves more than 7,000 students in communities throughout all of Maine’s 16 counties. It is the only nonprofit in Maine offering a continuum of support to help students transition from middle school through high school graduation, onto post-secondary education through degree attainment and connections to successful career pathways.

Every year they host a Bank of America professional development day and this year, over 100 students from 12 high schools in the Bangor area came to Eastern Maine Community College to learn more about skills they might need when entering the workforce. Four workshops were offered including a marketing training session, customer service training, a business panel, and speed networking.
