EMCC offers four Living Communities which foster connections between neighbors by grouping individuals with the same interests together in small communities. Please review the following information and select the appropriate choice for each option
  • This is designed for students whose GPA is a 3.0 or higher and serves as a very academically-focused living environment for some of our top scholars. This community is available for incoming students as well.
  • A community where roommates are assigned based primarily on hobbies and interests and gender identification is not factored into the process. This can be home to members of the LGBTQIA community, opposite-gender couples, siblings and everyone in between.
  • This is a community for the nature-lovers! Residents of this community are the first to head out into the great outdoors for an adventure when the opportunity arises.
  • Painters, writers, musicians, cartoonists... The list goes on! If you've ever found yourself vibing with the arts community at home, this may be just the place for you!
The primary objective of the Residential Life Department is to provide an atmosphere conducive to study, relaxation, and growth. All residents are required to follow expectations set forth in the EMCC Student and Residential Life Handbooks, as well as the Student Code of Conduct and Civility Statement. Furthermore: 1. In order to be considered for campus housing, you must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Residential Handbook and on this application; 2. You must notify the Director of Residential Life (in writing) if your plans change and you no longer need campus housing; 3. It is your responsibility to make payment arrangements for your student bill before moving onto campus and that your housing assignment will be suspended or delayed until said arrangements are made.
