Health Sciences
The Health Sciences certificate program is a foundational pathway for students interested in pursuing careers in nursing, life sciences, and allied health fields and prepares graduates for transfer into two or four-year health degree programs. The program is designed to address the growing demand for healthcare professionals by offering students an opportunity to explore and solidify their interests in these high-demand, high-wage professions.
The program is structured to encourage career exploration and provide career guidance within the health sciences and the necessary knowledge and competencies to make informed decisions about their academic and career trajectories. The curriculum includes the prerequisite academic requirements for application to the Nursing program and also many first year academic requirements in other health sciences programs.
